Shave for a cure

My friend Nina came up with a idea to shave for a cure. Unfortunately  something happened and she couldn't do it. But I still carried on and have decided to write a diary about the process of shave for a cure so if any one else wants to do it they can get a few ideas from this. 

I felt really nervous when I had to stand up at assembly. Don't be afraid if you make a mistake - just fix it and carry on because I can tell you I made a few! You will be surprised who comes to sign up for shave for a cure. We had more girls than boys at one time. Shaving isn't every ones cup of tea so you don't have to shave to help fundraise. You can run a bad hair day and everyone comes with crazy hair and people bring a gold coin donation.

What its shave for a cure?  
Shave for a cure is a Leukemia and Blood Cancer Foundation event where people get others to sponsor them if they are going to shave. Our school supported the Child Cancer Foundation so its like kids doing something special for kids. 
What's the hardest thing to get shave for a cure ready?  Probably making sheets and ringing people to sponsor me. The most fun things about shave for a cure is making bad hair day posters, adding how much money we made and getting a big parcel of balloons and buckets for the day. I would like to give a big thanks to all the teachers, friends and my family that helped me through the process of shave for a cure.
