| This is me and Fern |
On Sunday I went down to the farm with my dad and dog to give Di and Bruce, the farmers a present from looking after our dog Fern. I played with the other dogs in the yard for a while then as we were going to leave, Di told us that 'she had seen a add in the paper about a show that, people from all over the world like Japan,France,Africa,England and more can come and watch. About farmers and what other people do and show them how to do it like sheer a sheep or something like that, but then she thought of me and Fern she has seen us do our agility and dog training and was thinking if we wanted to give it a go. Though we will have practise lots and lots and maybe just maybe we can get in.

The sentences seem really long and a bit confusing. Read the piece out loud and see if you can mix it up with a few shorter sentences for impact.
